I established Notes of Northumberland in early 2017. After spending my career to date working in senior finance in a number of FTSE 100 companies a sudden illness forced me to rethink my work life and priorities.

I have been a hobby chandler for a number of years, making products for my own use and gifts for family and friends and after some amazing feedback and encouragement have decided to share my creations with the world.

I live with my husband and two children on the Northumberland Coast, just south of Alnwick, having lived in the area my whole life. It is my surroundings in Northumberland that have inspired the Notes of Northumberland collection. The collection aims to bring memories of places, people and pastimes of Northumberland to customer homes through a range of home fragrance products.
